RAWALPINDI: The security forces continued search and clearance operations in Swat and Malakand during the last 24 hours.
According to a press released issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday, the security forces conducted search operation in Taghan and Maira and apprehended 10 suspected terrorists.
At least 8 terrorists voluntarily surrendered to security forces in Barshaur, Biha and Chuprial.
During search and clearance operation at Banjir Banda, security forces recovered 21 communication sets.
A local commander of TNSM Badshah Zeb Alias Gorkai Mullah voluntarily surrendered to security forces in Ushari Darra area of Dir.
Terrorists fired 3 mortar rounds and 4 rockets in Kabutar Check Post. Resultantly, 2 soldiers got injured.
