PESHAWAR : A local commander of Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat Muhammadi (TNSM) Badshah Zeb alias Gorkai mullah voluntarily surrendered to security forces at Ushari Darra in Buner district, said an ISPR statement on Tuesday.
According to the ISPR statement search and clearance operations were continued in Swat and Malakand.
In Swat security forces conducted search operation at Taghan and Maira and apprehended 10 suspected militants. Eight militants voluntarily surrendered to security forces at Barshaur, Biha and Chuprial.
During search and clearance operation at Banjir Banda, security forces recovered 21 communication sets.
In Waziristan, militants fired three mortar rounds and four rockets at Kabutar check post that left two soldiers injured.
